My love of technology started during the Covid pandemic, when I was locked in the house for 10 hours a day. Unable to focus in online school, I became invested in how my computer actually worked, and my passion exploded from there. I started building computers, running a repair service, and learned the basics of coding. I currently host multiple media and web servers, running Unraid, Proxmox, and Kubernetes.
Entering high school in 2022, I immediately became enamored with theater, specifically, the audio side. I started mixing shows for my school, and moved to mixing for Korsa, a professional theater company. I worked as an A2 for a while, and moved to A1 after a few shows. Past credits include A2 for Oklahoma! and Anastasia, and A1 for Spring Awakening, 13, and A Chorus Line. At the same time, I began playing guitar and producing music, covering songs with my friends. For my senior capstone project, I produced a cover of Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead.
Soon after I started working on shows at a higher level, I became interested in amateur radio, as it shares much with the audio and technology world. I got my license (callsign KO6MQZ) a year ago, and passed my general exam in February of 2026. I hang out at the bay area repeaters, mostly Grizzly Peak and SF 70cm. I also am getting into POTA and SOTA, and want to start DXing regularly.
A couple other random facts: I do drone photography and videography, astrophotography, I despise CSS (clearly), and Celeste is by far the best game ever made.
